legalized gambling

A Nassau guardian team approached the Bahamian people whether gambling should be legalized or not. Many people have different sides to it but in fact the prime minster informed many groups that the government is taking it into consideration.

Many people believe that it should not be legalized to gamble because the bible speaks against it.
Also many people believe that gambling makes me people go in debt, so legalizing it would just add on to the poverty in the Bahamas.

But others see no reason while gambling should not be legalized. It would stop many arrests in the Bahama area and since they already have legalized casinos that the visitors attend.

Overall, I frown upon gambling. When people gamble, they can gamble their lives away. One of my family members had a gambling problem and the more he became addicted, the deeper the debt became; it affected all of us and it still does today. I personally do not see why gambling should be legalized anywhere in the world, because it causes unfortunate poverty, ruins relationships with people, and can destroy lives.
